The Opening Night GALA

34th Annual Carmel Art Festival’s GALA will be held at Devendorf Park in Carmel-by-the-Sea
Friday, May 15, 2027 6-9PM

This event is always a convivial gathering of our juried plein air artists who come from all over, serious art collectors, visitors from far and wide, and residents who all come together annually to continue building Carmel’s artistic legacy.

By popular demand, award winning Nora’s will once again provide its chef crafted food, paired with wines by celebrated Monterey County vineyards, Folktale and Scheid. Our live music was such a hit in 2026 that we are asking the RJAE HAAS Band with its Santana-type music to come back. Plus you will once again receive a unique etched wine glass to commemorate the event.
